1. Service

RightsCheck is an automated pre-publication risk-screening service for images and videos. It may report reverse-web matches, text, logos, faces, landmarks, duplicate signals, technical quality and audio presence. It is not a legal clearance certificate, ownership registry, music-identification service or legal advice. False positives and false negatives are possible, and customers remain responsible for obtaining licences, releases and professional advice.

2. Fixed-term plans and credits

Pilot, Team and API launch plans are fixed-term digital access packages and do not renew automatically. Fast, Standard and Thorough scans consume 1, 2 and 3 credits. Unused credits expire at the end of the stated access period and are not carried forward. Enterprise work is governed by a separate written quote or contract.

3. Payment and immediate access

Prices are in USD. Card payment is handled by Stripe; RightsCheck does not store card details. Access is generated after cleared payment. By selecting immediate access, the customer asks us to begin supplying the digital service immediately. Statutory rights that cannot legally be excluded remain unaffected.

4. Refunds

Contact support promptly if access was not delivered, the service was materially unavailable, or a duplicate charge occurred. Consumed scan credits are normally non-refundable except where required by law. We may suspend abusive, fraudulent or security-threatening use.

5. Customer content and acceptable use

Customers must have a lawful basis to upload content and must not upload illegal material, secrets or unrelated personal data. Uploaded media and extracted frames are deleted after processing in the public SaaS; perceptual hashes and operational records may be retained for duplicate detection, security, billing and support.

6. Availability and liability

The service depends on third-party infrastructure and search coverage, so uninterrupted availability or complete web coverage is not guaranteed. To the extent permitted by law, liability is limited to the amount paid for the affected access package. Nothing excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded.
